WALES:
Between the west coast of Wales and the Upper Wye Valley of the Welsh Marches lie the Cambrian Mountains and the Radnor Hills. A combination of history, natural topography and your hosts research have conspired to create the worlds most extensive trail riding network. Over 600 miles of described and mapped trails link together the 30 farms, inns and hotels offering hospitality to horse and rider.
Crossing bracken covered ridges and mountain streams, winding through old oak woodlands and conifer forests, beneath rocky crags, along leafy valleys, and over heather moorlands, these old trails form a beautiful and wild riding network which are preserved for today's leisure rider.
Your horse will be fit, friendly and easy to catch in the morning! Their varied work, travelling the trail network, combined with having the same rider for at least two days at a time, gives them a happy and contented disposition. All horses are willing, alert, forward going, happy to lead, go alongside or follow.

SOUTH AFRICA
This wilderness African Horseback Safari offers a safari for those with an adventurous spirit. It is truly a unique and amazing experience to explore one of the great unchartered areas of South Africa.
Experience game reserves abundant with wildlife and history for a seven day adventure of a lifetime, led by your qualified guide and owner, Steven Rufus. Steven is fully qualified to guide guests in animal country and has personally selected all of his horses. There are various breeds of South African horses; Boerperd, Basuto Pony, SA Warmblood and Crosses. These horses have to adapt to the environment of the mountains and crossing slippery streams to fast gallops on the plains, and standing their ground against the Big Five game.
Your week long adventure can be experienced in luxury lodges available throughout the year, or a wilderness safari in Songimvelo Game Reserve, leaving at scheduled dates throughout the year.
